390. Debra Kay "Deb" PERGANDE was born on 10 February 1960 in Dubuque, Dubuque County, IA.^5,397 She died on 9 July 2012 at the age of 52 in La Crosse, La Crosse County, WI.³⁹⁷

Obituary Notes: "Debra Kay Wallace, 52, of Viroqua and formerly of Tomah, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse, surrounded by her loving children.

She was born Feb. 10, 1960, the youngest of 10 children, the daughter of Merle and Helen (Schaefer) Pergande at Dubuque, Iowa. In 1978 Deb was united in marriage to George R. Fawcett; from this union four children were born. She later was united in marriage to Everett Wallace Feb. 10, 2007, at Sparta. Deb was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ridgeville. She worked at Baker’s hog farm in Muscoda for several years. She also worked at Walmart in Viroqua and Sparta as an overnight stocker.

Debra “Debbie” was a very loving mother, grandmother, wife, aunt and friend. Everything she did, she did out of love. She enjoyed being with her family and spending as much time as possible with her seven grandchildren. She enjoyed collecting cookie jars and salt and pepper shakers and attending auctions and garage sales. She also enjoyed taking her grandchildren to the park and watching them play.

She is survived by her husband, Everett of Viroqua; four children, Tonia (Mike) Friday of Readstown, Thomas Fawcett of Soldiers Grove, George Fawcett of Viola and Sarah (Waylon) Peat of Tomah; seven grandchildren, Tristin, Kaylee, Jasmine, Mason, Mackenzie, Hannah and Harmony; five brothers and sisters, Richard (Judy) of Dubuque, Eileen (Ralph) White of Potosi, Merle Jr. of Platteville, Judy (Bob) Johnson, Dan (Doris) and Ronald Pergande, all of Dubuque; a sister-in-law, Sue Pergande of Hazel Green; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandchild, Kaden; two brothers, Herman and Robert; a sister, Mary Jo; infant twin siblings; and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Pergande.

A funeral service will be held Friday, July 13, 2012, at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ridgeville. Pastor Matthew Minzlaff will officiate. Burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery."
