Andreas "Andrew" MAY (^) was born in 1858 in Leroy, Dodge County, WI.^7,13 He appeared in the census in 1860 in Leroy Township, Dodge County, WI.² He appeared in the census in 1870 in Leroy Township, Dodge County, WI.¹ Andrew appeared in the census in 1880 in Kohlsville, Wayne Township, Washington County, WI.^6,7,14,15 He was a "brother-in-law" in the household of his sister Frances and her family, and his occupation was "Collier" (a coal miner). (He was also listed with his parents in the census for Leroy Township, Dodge County, WI, but his name and information was lined through, so the enumerator probably found out that he was not living with them.)

(The 1900 Census for Tigerton Village, Shawano County, WI, contains the listing of Andrew May, "Single," a "Boarder," born Nov 1860, age 39, parents born in Germany, and occupation "Bar Tender." That may have been him.)

(The 1910 Census for Enterprise Township, Oneida County, WI, contains the listing of Andrew May, "Single," a "Boarder," age 45, father born in Wisconsin, mother born in Germany, and occupation "Laborer, Farm Labor." His age and his father's birthplace are not a fit, but that may also have been him.) He died before probably 1920 at the age of 62 in Wisconsin.¹⁶ He cannot be located in Wisconsin in the 1920 Census records, so he may have died before then.

Andreas "Andrew" MAY (^) and Maria Ferdinanda WEIS (^) were married on 11 February 1890 in Allenton, Washington County, WI.^4,13,17,18 After Ferdinanda died, Andrew left his children and they were sent to live with his father and two of Ferdinanda's brothers, Martin and John. Maria Ferdinanda WEIS (^)¹⁹, daughter of George WEIS and Anna Mary BAUMER, was born on 2 February 1867 in Addison Township, Washington County, WI.^7,13,16,20 (She and her parents and siblings cannot be located in Wisconsin in the 1870 Census.) She appeared in the census in 1880 in Addison Township, Washington County, WI.⁷ She died on 22 April 1895 at the age of 28 in Addison Township, Washington County, WI.^13,21 She is believed to have died during childbirth when her triplet children were born.
