Frederick William "Fritz" KELLEY was born on 2 October 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.3,21,27 He appeared in the census in 1920 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.10 He appeared in the census in 1930 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.11 He was living with his parents and his occupation was "Laborer, Odd Jobs." Fritz died on 23 January 1984 at the age of 73 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.27

Frederick William "Fritz" KELLEY and Helen Joy KENYON (`) (~) were married on 4 May 1947.27,33,34 Helen Joy KENYON (`) (~), daughter of Charles Martin KENYON and Harriet Ann SHOOKMAN, was born on 31 January 1928 in Purdy Valley, Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.3,33,35,36 in Purdy Valley She appeared in the census in 1930 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.11 She died on 11 September 2007 at the age of 79 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.27

Obituary Notes: "Helen J. Kelley, 79, of Sparta, and formerly of Tomah, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, at the Morrow Memorial Home. She was born Jan. 31, 1928, to Charles and Harriet (Shookman) Kenyon in the Town of Greenfield. She was united in marriage to Frederick Kelley May 4, 1947. He preceded her in death.

Helen was the office manager for the Oakdale Electric Cooperative for more than 30 years until her retirement in 1992. She did secretarial work full time for Dean Wittner. She enjoyed spending time at her cottage in Hancock, WI, watching sports, especially the Green Bay Packers. Most important to Helen was her family and the time they spent together. She was a faithful member of St. Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Sally) Kelley of Tomah, Jean Kelley of Marshfield, Donald Kelley of Stevens Point, and Donna Kelley of Tomah; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Dolores Kenyon of Sparta and Bernice Kenyon of Tomah; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frederick; four sisters, Doris Hart, Veva Kenyon, Jeanette Storkel and Kathleen Von Fumetti; and three brothers, Kyle, Glen and James Kenyon.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 303 W. Monroe St., Tomah. The Very Rev. Steven J. Kachel will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St., Tomah, and at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of the Mass. A parish rosary will be recited on Friday at 4 p.m. at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home."
