She appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ She appeared in the census in 1930 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹¹ Margaret died on 26 May 2004 at the age of 92.²⁴ She was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁴ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Matilda "Margaret" PERGANDE and Frederick "Fred" RICE were married on 8 January 1934.^25,26 Frederick "Fred" RICE was born on 8 May 1910.²⁶ He died on 20 April 1973 at the age of 62.²⁶
