1. Joseph J. MOSELEY was born about 1770 in Windham County, VT.1 He served in the military about 1812.1 He was a soldier in the War of the Revolution. He appeared in the census in 1830 in Dreyden Township, Tompkins County, NY.2 His household consisted of one male, age 40-50 (Joseph); one female, age 5-10; one female, age 20-30; and one female, age 30-40 (his wife, Azuba). (This is believed to have been the household of the father of Aaron Moseley, but is must be confirmed.)

MOSELEY and (Unknown) UNKNOWN (MOSELEY) were married.1 (Unknown) UNKNOWN (MOSELEY) was born about 1775 in Massachusetts.5 She appeared in the census in 1850 in Franklinville, Cattaraugus County, NY.5 She was living with her grandson, Alonzo. She died after 1850 at the age of 75.5 (Her given name may have been Azuba.)
