1. Joseph J. MOSELEY was born about 1770 in Windham County, VT.¹ He served in the military about 1812.¹ He was a soldier in the War of the Revolution. He appeared in the census in 1830 in Dreyden Township, Tompkins County, NY.² His household consisted of one male, age 40-50 (Joseph); one female, age 5-10; one female, age 20-30; and one female, age 30-40 (his wife, Azuba). (This is believed to have been the household of the father of Aaron Moseley, but is must be confirmed.)

MOSELEY and (Unknown) UNKNOWN (MOSELEY) were married.¹ (Unknown) UNKNOWN (MOSELEY) was born about 1775 in Massachusetts.⁵ She appeared in the census in 1850 in Franklinville, Cattaraugus County, NY.⁵ She was living with her grandson, Alonzo. She died after 1850 at the age of 75.⁵ (Her given name may have been Azuba.)
