Raymond Lyle "Ray" NAUMAN and Virginia M. ANDERSON were married on 13 August 1951 in Nashua, Chickasaw County, IA.^1,27,34,40 Virginia M. ANDERSON, daughter of John Carl ANDERSON and Leah Margret PRATT, was born on 3 May 1934.¹ She died on 28 May 2007 at the age of 73 in West Salem, La Crosse County, WI.²⁷

Obituary Notes: "Virginia M. Nauman, 73, of Norwalk, died Monday, May 28, 2007, at the Mulder Health Care Facility in West Salem. She was born on May 3, 1934, to John and Leah (Pratt) Anderson. She grew up in lower Coles Valley and graduated from Sparta High School in 1951.

Virginia married Raymond Nauman on Aug. 13, 1951, in the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. After marriage, they farmed in the Town of Adrian. She worked at Burnstad’s in Tomah, Decomat in Sparta and then at the Sparta Country Kitchen. Virginia was an avid bowler and enjoyed ceramics, birds and flowers. She was a member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond of Norwalk; children, Kathy Braatz of Rochester, MN, Merry (Jerome) Kuderer of Norwalk, Laurie (Tom) Graber of Palmdale, CA, Penny (Bill) Chambers of Merritt Island, FL; 12 grandchildren; six great-grand-children; three brothers, Bert (Emma) Anderson of Sparta, Rollin (Phyllis) Anderson of TN, John (Sharon) Anderson of Tomah; three sisters, Darlene Wolfe of Wisconsin Rapids, Shirley Dronahrost of Marinette and Sharon (Gary) Bibby of Lady Lake, FL; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Kenneth, Eugene, Robert and James.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church 21693 Co. Hwy. A, with Rev. Matthew Minzlaff officiating. Burial will be in Mound Prairie Cemetery, Coles Valley.

Friends may call at the Lanham-Miller Funeral Home, Sparta on Thursday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Online condolences may be offered at www.lanham-miller.com.
