"Fritz" NEITZEL was born on 11 February 1914 in Monroe County, WI.3,37 He appeared in the census in 1920 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.3 He appeared in the census in 1930 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.16 Fritz died before September 1994 at the age of 80.39 He was buried in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.17 in the St. Matthews Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Arnold Albert H. "Fritz" NEITZEL and Erma Frieda CLAIR were married on 22 June 1935 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.29 Erma Frieda CLAIR, daughter of Frank CLAIR and Emma ZUHLSDORF, was born on 7 November 1914 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.29 She died on 9 July 2006 at the age of 91 in Hillsboro, Vernon County, WI.29

Obituary Notes: "Erma Frieda Neitzel, age 91, of Ontario, died Sunday, July 9, 2006, at St. Joseph Nursing Home at Hillsboro. She was born Nov. 7, 1914, to Frank and Emma (Zuhlsdorf) Clair in the Town of Wellington, Kinney Valley. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Church at South Ridge.

She was united in marriage to Arnold “Fritz” Albert Herbert Neitzel on June 22, 1935, at St. Matthew’s Ev. Lutheran Church. She was an active and faithful life long member of St. Matthew’s congregation. She loved her church, being a member of the Ladies Aid, singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School, singing with the younger members and children, playing the organ and helping with funerals and vacation Bible school. Erma enjoyed playing cards with several clubs and with the Senior Citizens of Wilton and Kendall. In February of 2002, Erma suffered a stroke and had resided at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home in Hillsboro since then. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by a son, Roger (Jean) of Beloit; two grandchildren, James Roger of Janesville and Kristin Marie of Colorado; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Chad Ryan.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Ev. Lutheran Church, South Ridge. Pastor Fred Fedke officiated. Burial was in the South Ridge Lutheran Cemetery. Relatives and friends called at the church on Wednesday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. The Smith-Nelson Funeral Home, Wilton, assisted the family with arrangements."
