Eugene Charles "Gene" GEBHARDT and Evelyn C. HANSEN were married on 3 March 1954.65 Evelyn C. HANSEN was born on 15 August 1933 in Atlanta, Fulton County, GA.65 She died on 4 February 2014 at the age of 80 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.65

Obituary Notes: "Evelyn C. Gebhardt, 80, of Warrens died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at her home. She was born Aug. 15, 1933, to Christian and Ragna (Engelbretsen) Hansen in Atlanta, Ga. She was a member of the Scandinavia High School graduating class of 1951. She was united in marriage to Eugene Gebhardt March 3, 1954.

Evelyn worked for the Toro Company in Tomah for several years, she also worked at the Warrens Mall after she retired from Toro. She always enjoyed visiting with friends. She enjoyed spending time working in her vegetable garden and grew raspberries and blackberries and would can as much as she could. Evelyn always saved an area for flowers, she was able to grow some very large and very beautiful flowers. She was a wonderful knitter and made many beautiful things. She would knit for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling with her sister and made trips to Norway, Nashville, and out to the East and West coasts. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Eugene; her children, Lou Ann Witt, Terri Swope, Candace (Daniel) Beltz, and Shawn (Dawn) Gebhardt all of Warrens; 10 grandchildren, Matthew Witt, Dana Swope, Kent (Carrie) Swope, Mindi (Justin) Swope, Otto Daniel Beltz, Dusty (Aleya) Beltz, Dominique Beltz, Dakota (Judy) Beltz, Jacilyn Gebhardt and Brandon Gebhardt, eight great-grandchildren, Alexis Mills, Jamus Mills, Wyatt Johnson, Walker Johnson, Draven Swope, Candace Davidson, Landen Stoewsand and Brody Beltz; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother, and a sister, Florence Potts.
A private family service will be held. Burial will be in the Warren-Mills Cemetery. Pastor Phillip Enderle officiated."
