Doris BOWMAN and Frank "Bud" GOETZKA Jr. were married on 18 September 1954 in Millston, Jackson County, WI.61 Frank "Bud" GOETZKA Jr., son of Frank GOETZKA and Mary Jane OGLE, was born on 4 April 1929 in Knapp Township, Jackson County, WI.61 He died on 26 March 2015 at the age of 85 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.61

Obituary Notes: "Frank “Bud” O. Goetzka, 85, of Warrens, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015, at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Tomah, while under the care of Tomah VA Hospice, with his family by his side. He was born April 4, 1929, in the Town of Knapp, to Frank Sr. and Mary (Ogle) Goetzka.

Bud was raised in the Town of Knapp, before he joined the U.S. Army in 1951. He was honorably discharge from the Army in 1953, and went on to attend Vocational School.
On Sept. 18, 1954, Bud was united in marriage to Doris Bowman in Millston. Together the couple resided in the Town of Knapp.

Bud worked as a farmer handling feeder pigs and from 1960 until 1966, he worked for the Jackson County Highway Department. He also worked for General Motors in Janesville, where during that time Bud commuted from Janesville to home every weekend.
He enjoyed woodworking, farming, fishing and hunting. Bud was a member of the Tomah American Legion Post 201.

He is survived by his wife, Doris; children, Judy (David) Birner of Warrens, Diane (Mike) Kincannon of Tomah, Jamie Ritzer of Steven Point, Wis., and Paul (Michele) Goetzka of Byron, Ill.; six grandchildren, Amber, Nathan, Rustin, Jessica, Kristen and Megan; two great-grandchildren, Braeden and Broox; sister, Lila Kluball; brother, Leonard (Patricia) Goetzka; many nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary; sister, Iva Kosmosky; son-in-law, Steve Ritzer; brothers-in-law, Steve Kosmosky and Robert Kluball.

Funeral services will be noon today at Buswell Funeral Home, Black River Falls. Dennis Frost will be officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Millston."
