Chad William GERKE and Mandy HANCOCK were married on 29 April 2002.³⁵⁶ Mandy HANCOCK, daughter of David HANCOCK and Carolyn UNKNOWN (HANCOCK), was born about 1978. "A Tomah woman reportedly upset with her husband over family matters is accused of driving and smashing into his new Lexus. Mandy L. Gerke, 37, was arrested July 3 and has since been charged with two counts of recklessly endangering safety as both the car she was driving and the one she struck had passengers.
Gerke also reportedly exited the 2014 Camaro she was driving after the crash and grabbed a shovel to hit the 2015 Lexus IS 250, causing a combined $60,000 worth of damage, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department. Both vehicles were registered to her 40-year-old husband.
Authorities were called to a Hemmingford Road residence at about 7:30 p.m. during the incident. The man reported he was on the phone with Gerke when they began arguing and he mentioned he got a new car. He said she then drove up the driveway at a high rate of speed and into the side of the Lexus where his 68-year-old father was sitting, backed up and rammed it again, according to the report.
The father reportedly was not hurt. Gerke had a 63-year-old woman in her vehicle, who also appeared to not have been injured.
Gerke also is charged with criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct. She was released on a $5,000 signature bond and has an initial court appearance scheduled for July 20."
