Phyllis Elaine NOTH was born on 20 July 1931 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.97 She appeared in the census in 1940 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.43 She died on 7 December 2022 at the age of 91 in Hopkins, Hennepin County, MN.259 Obituary Notes: "Phyllis Elaine Zillmer, 91 of Hopkins, MN and formerly of Tomah passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at the Chapel View Senior Living Community, Hopkins, MN.

Phyllis was born at home in the town of Wilton on July 20th, 1931 to Raymond and Lula Noth. She attended Hillcrest school, St. Paul’s Lutheran school and Tomah High School. She was united in marriage to Wayne Zillmer on October 30, 1948 and had 4 children. They lived in Ridgeville and ran a dairy farm for 42 years, while also running a country store for 16 years. Phyllis was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and served many offices for ladies aid, circles and Utopian Homemakers. After Wayne died, she traveled with her special friend, Doris Johnson, throughout the US, Canada and Europe. She also worked a part time job at shoe stores in Tomah after retiring from farming.

She is survived by her children, Wanda (Kevin) O’Leary, Linus (Susie) Zillmer and Eric (Bridget) Zillmer; grandchildren Ryan (Erin) O’Leary, Shannon (Rob) Larkin, Angela (Mike) Woody, Mark Zillmer, Anthony Zillmer, Amber Zillmer and Tyler Zillmer; great grandchildren Nolan and Hudson O’Leary, Mitchell and Brett Larkin, Madison and Claire Woody, Madeline and Graham Zillmer. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Letha Noth, Elizabeth Zillmer & Joan Rosenow and brother-in-law Robert Nazgovitz.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband (Wayne), her first son (Larry), her brother (Orlo Noth) and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 19, 11:00 AM at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 21693 County Hwy A, Tomah. Pastor Robert Gerke to officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery."

Wayne Robert ZILLMER, son of Leo Anton ZILLMER and Lela Mildred GROSSMAN, was born on 1 July 1927 in Cataract, Little Falls Township, Monroe County, WI.25,97,244 Between 1947 and 1989 he was a farmer in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.25 Between 1958 and 1974 he was a storeowner in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.25 He ran the Ridgeville Store for 16 years until he sold it to his son. Wayne died on 26 November 1990 at the age of 63 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.25,244

Obituary Notes: "Wayne Robert Zillmer, 63, Rt. 4, Tomah, died Mon., Nov. 26, 1990, in Tomah Memorial Hospital. He was born July 1, 1927, in Sparta, to Leo and Lela (Grossmann) Zilmer. He married Phyllis Noth Oct. 30, 1948, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Tomah.

He and his wife farmed for 42 years in the Town of Ridgeville, until this past year when they retired. They also ran the Ridgeville Store for 16 years. He was a member of the Monroe County Guernsey Breeders Assn. and a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, where he served on the church council for many years. He was currently working part-time for the Tomah Journal and Monitor-Herald.

Services are today at 1:30 P.M. in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ridgeville. The Rev. Daniel Falck officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah." He was buried on 29 November 1990 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.230,244 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Larry Wayne ZILLMER was born on 3 January 1949 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.1,25,178 He died on 5 January 1952 at the age of 3 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.25,178

Obituary Notes: "Services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 8, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Ridgeville, for Larry Wayne Zillmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Zillmer, the Rev. Eldor Toepel officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery at Tomah.

Larry Wayne Zillmer was born on Jan. 5, 1949, and was baptized at Ridgeville soon after birth. On Saturday, Jan. 5, he backed into a pail of hot water at his home and suffered severe burns and shock. He was taken to St. Mary's hospital at Sparta, where he passed away that evening at the age of three years and two days.

He is survived by his parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends. Mr. and Mrs. Zillmer have the sympathy of everyone in the community in their tragic loss." He was buried on 8 January 1952 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.178,230 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
