Corliss August NOTH was born on 11 July 1905 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.1,25,46,97,104 He was baptized on 6 August 1905 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.104 He appeared in the census in 1910 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.30 Corliss appeared in the census in 1920 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.24 He appeared in the census in 1930 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.34 He was living with his brother Raymond and Raymond's wife. Between 1932 and 1965 he was a farmer.25 Corliss died on 20 August 1975 at the age of 70 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.25 Obituary Notes: "Corliss Noth, 70, of the Town of Wilton, died Wednesday, August 20, at his farm of an apparent heart attack. He was born July 11, 1905 to Mr. and Mrs. August Noth in the Town of Wilton. He was married October 26, 1932 to Erma Heinz in Wilton.

Survivors are: his widow; one son, David, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Lucille) Sherwood, of Tomah, and Mrs. Douglas (Carol) Nevin, of Wilton; one brother, Raymond, of Tomah; three sisters; Mrs. Neta Radant, of Portage, Mrs. Adalia Olson, of Arlington, Va., and Mrs. Andrew Krukar, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and six grandchildren.

The funeral was held Saturday at 2 P.M. at the Smith-Nelson Funeral Home at Wilton. Pastor Gary Flatgard officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah." He was buried on 23 August 1975 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.25,64

Corliss August NOTH and Erma Luella HEINZ were married on 26 October 1932 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.25,46,179,180 Erma Luella HEINZ, daughter of Reinhold R. A. "Raymond" HEINZ and Anna L. W. SOMMERFIELD, was born on 5 August 1910 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.25,97 She appeared in the census in 1920 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.24 She died on 17 January 1999 at the age of 88 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.25

Obituary Notes: "Erma L. Noth, 88, of Wilton, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 1999, at Bluffview Meadows at Tomah. She was born Aug. 5, 1910 to Raymond and Anna (Sommerfield) Heinz in the Town of Wellington, Monroe County. She was united in marriage to Corliss A. Noth on Oct. 26, 1932, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wilton. He preceded her in death on Aug. 20, 1975.

Prior to retiring, they farmed. Erma loved to garden. We will fondly remember her wearing her large brimmed straw hat as she lovingly labored among her flowers in her garden. Erma also enjoyed sewing, embroidering, tatting and quilting. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Erma is survived by two daughters, Lucille "Lucy" (Robert) Sherwood of Tomah and Carol (Douglas) Nevin of Wilton; a son, David (Sandy) of Wilton; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Krukar of Colorado Springs, Colo. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1975; two grandsons, Roger Sherwood and Paul Noth; a brother, Ruben Heinz; and two sisters, Regina Michaels and Malzena Creviston.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999 at 11 A.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wilton. Rev. Daniel R. Dibbert will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery at Tomah." Erma was buried on 20 January 1999 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.25,64 in the Oak Grove Cemetery
