He eventually was a Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps and was stationed at the U.S. Marine Corps Air Station at Quantico Virginia. He eventually was Discharged as a Technical Sergeant in April 1946 from Camp Lejeune, NC Glen appeared in the census in April 1950 in Baltimore, Baltimore County, MD.59 He was Divorced and a "Lodger" and lived in the household of Rachel Pollard, his eventual second wife. ACREE, 89 years young, died at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He is predeceased by his wife of many years, Rachel L. Acree and his brother Abe Acree. He is survived by his daughter Rachel Faye Dulski and son-in law Tony Dulski; two grandsons, Dale and Bruce Dulski; one granddaughter, Dawn Koenig; eight grandchildren, Ben Hansen, Bruce, David, Samantha and Micki Dulski, Alexanderia, Jared and Lilly Koenig.

Glenn was a proud Marine who served his country in WW II. He always said, "Once a Marine, always a Marine." Hooray Dad. Hooray. He enjoyed going to the horse track and playing cards with his many friends and members of The Curtis Bay Athletic Club. 

Friends may call at McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home, 3204 Mountain Rd., (Pasadena) on Tuesday and Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in Meadowridge Cemetery. Contributions may be made to a charity of your choice." He was buried in June 2010 in Elkridge, Howard County, MD.42 in the Meadowridge Memorial Park.
