6. Abraham ACREE (^^) was born about 1731 in Hanover County, Virginia Colony, British Colonial America.6,8,15,16 As an adult, Abraham moved from his childhood home in Hanover County, Virginia, to settle, marry, and raise his family in Caroline County, Virginia, just across the Pamunkey River.

Here is an abstract from a page written in 1864 by his grandson, Matthew: "John Acree, a son of Abraham Acree and his wife, Ann, was born on March 2, 1760. John's wife, Lucy Schools, daughter of John Schools and Sally, was born on June 30, 1774. Matthew Yarrow Acree, son of John and Lucy, was born on June 21, 1796. On November 3, 1829, Matthew married Charlotte George, who was born on December 15, 1810." Abraham's other three sons - James, William and Ambrose - are assumed, based upon their Revolutionary War records.

According to the Acree Project Lineages (AcreeTree.net/ydnalines.html), he and his descendants were members of the "Lineages from Abraham Acree of Caroline County, VA." He died about 1788 at the age of 57 in Caroline County, Virginia Colony, British Colonial America.6 He has Ancestral File Number LHXF-JMQ.

Abraham ACREE (^^) and Ann UNKNOWN (ACREE) (^^) were married about 1753 in Virginia Colony, British Colonial America.6,8 Ann UNKNOWN (ACREE) (^^)10 was born about 1735 in Virginia Colony, British Colonial America.6 She died on 12 April 1790 at the age of 55 in Caroline County, VA.6,16,17 She has Ancestral File Number L28V-4W9.
