Wilhelm Georg Johann "William" ALBRECHT was born on 2 May 1864 in Pommern (Pomerania) Province, Preussen (Prussia).^{20,33,35,38,44} He emigrated in 1868 from Germany.⁴⁶ He was confirmed on 6 April 1879 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.³³ at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. William appeared in the census in 1880 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.²¹ He was a "servant" in the home of Fredrick Kuthlow. Between 1887 and 1928 he was a farmer in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴⁴ From the Monroe County Heritage Book: "Wilhelm was a farmer on a small farm in the township of Ridgeville until his retirement, and then he moved to Tomah. There, he was a crane operator for the Milwaukee Road until his death."
