Descendants of Friedrich Boettcher

Friedrich Boettcher was the father of August John Boettcher, who is the earliest-known ancestor of many of the various Boettcher families that live in Monroe County. August was born in 1856 in Prussia. He and his wife, Amelia Busse, were the parents of ten children.

He may have been the brother of Gustav Boettcher, who was also born in Prussia in the 1800's. August and his wife, Pauline Peetz, were the parents of six children that also have descendants in Monroe County. That family is included in another report.
