Frisco is a ghost town in Beaver County, Utah, United States. It was an active mining camp from 1879 to 1929. At its peak in 1885, Frisco was a thriving town of 6,000 people.

Obituary Notes: "After Short Illness - John J. Ferrell, recent Resident of Stevens Point, Passed Away in Chicago last Wednesday. Mr. Ferrell, who was a resident of this city for about four years prior to a few months ago, since which time he had been making his home with his sister-in-law, Mrs. E. A. Ferrell in Chicago, died at her residence on Wednesday last after an illness of about 24 hours with pneumonia and heart failure.

The deceased gentleman was born in Otsego county, N. Y., March 28, 1841, and was therefore in the 70th year of his age. Most of his early life was spent in Utah and Montana, where he was engaged in the hotel and mining business at Frisco and Salt Lake City, Utah, and during the '80's was proprietor of the Pacific Cafe in the latter city, which was one of the finest restaurants in the west.

For about 20 years be lived at Phillipsburg and Butte, Mont., where he was also engaged in the hotel business, but moved to Escanaba, Mich., in 1902, residing there until he came to Stevens Point in 1906.

Mr. Ferrell is survived by one son, Fred M. Ferrell, who has been making his headquarters at Worcester, Mass., for several months, being sales manager of "Thompson of Worcester." He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Mary E. Shafer of Glencoe, Ill., and two brothers, Wm. Ferrell of Pennsylvania and Byron Ferrell of Chicago. Mrs. Ferrell, wife of the deceased, passed away in this city a short time before he left here.

The deceased was a man of marked ability and during the four years that he resided in Stevens Point made many friends who will regret to hear of his departure. The funeral took place in Chicago last Saturday with interment in Forest Home cemetery.

UNKNOWN (MORSE), was born in February 1846 in New York.503,506 (According to the 1880 Census, her father was born in Massachusetts and her mother in New York. According to the 1900, they were both born in New Hampshire. According to the 1920, they were both born in Massachusetts.)

She appeared in the census in 1880 in Frisco, Beaver County, UT.503 She appeared in the census in 1900 in Butte, Silver Bow County, MT.506 Georgianna appeared in the census in 1910 in Stevens Point, Portage County, WI.507 She died on 25 October 1910 at the age of 64 in Stevens Point, Portage County, WI.505

Obituary Notes: "Mrs. J. J. Ferrell, died at the home of her son, Fred M., 210 Center street, Tuesday at 8:20 a.m. after an illness of about four weeks. An utter nervous collapse was the cause of her death.

Georgiana Whiting Morse was born in Amsterdam, New York. She was graduated from a female seminary in Fitchburg, Mass. She was married later at Devereaux, near Little Falls, New York. Mr. and Mrs. Ferrell resided some time in Little Falls, and early in the 60's moved to Chicago. Here Mr. Ferrell engaged in business and after the Chicago fire, in which he sustained a loss of some $200,000, the family moved to southern Utah. In 1902 the family again moved east, where Mr. Ferrell engaged in business in Escanaba, Mich. They remained there four years and since 1906 they have lived with their son Fred, in this city.

The deceased is survived by her husband, a brother, Louis K. Morse of Chicago, a sister, Mrs. James S. Packard of Portland Ore., a son, Fred M. of this city, and a granddaughter, Florence Ferrell, who makes her home with her aunt, Mrs. J. H. Monteath in Tonapach, Nevada.

The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, at the residence, 210 Center street, the Rev. John A. Stemen officiating. Interment to follow in Forest cemetery."

. She was buried in Stevens Point, Portage County, WI.505 in the Forest Cemetery.
