She appeared in the census in 1950 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, WI.²⁹⁵ She died on 9 August 2016 at the age of 75 in Friendship, Adams County, WI.⁴⁷⁸ of Stage 4 lung cancer.

Obituary Notes: "Pehowski, Annette Aug. 7, 1941-Aug. 9, 2016. She left an impression on countless hearts with her time here. She will always be remembered by her big heart and even bigger personality. She left her husband Thomas of 57 years, their children Carrie Kanngieser (Al), Scott Pehowski (Kathy), Cheryl Legler, Colleen Bath (Dan), 10 grandkids and 10 great-kids behind to carry on her legacy. We will be celebrating her life Saturday, August 27 at Summerfield Church, 728 E. Juneau Ave., 11-12:30 PM; service to follow."
