2. Thomas Britton ALLEN was born on 11 September 1863 in Springville, Jefferson Township, Vernon County, WI.^2,6 He appeared in the census in 1880 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.² He died on 3 March 1959 at the age of 95.⁶

Thomas Britton ALLEN and Mary Olive SMITH were married on 23 June 1888.⁶ They had five children. Mary Olive SMITH was born on 4 September 1871 in Viroqua Township, Vernon County, WI.⁶ She died on 1 July 1953 at the age of 81 in Viroqua Township, Vernon County, WI.⁶
