Descendants of Patrick Arity

Patrick Arity was born in 1788 in Ireland. In about 1811, he married Clara Spoor, who was born in 1790 in New York. They had eight children, who were all born in Madison County, NY.

Their youngest son, James H. Arity, was born in 1827 and married Caroline Edgerton. They had two daughters and one son, Charlie, who eventually lived in Lincoln Township. He was the source of the many Arity family members who lived in Monroe County.
