1. Friedrich H. "Fred" BEHRENS was born about 1812 in Detmold, Kreis Lippe, Nordrhein-Westfalen (North Rhine Westphalia) Province, Preussen (Prussia).¹ He emigrated in 1867 from Preussen (Prussia).² He appeared in the census in 1870 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.³ Fred appeared in the census in 1880 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹ He died on 6 March 1898 at the age of 86 in Monroe County, WI.⁴

Friedrich H. "Fred" BEHRENS and Wilhelmine U. "Mina" RINGE were married.^2,5,6,7 (Her surname may have been "Rieger.") Wilhelmine U. "Mina" RINGE was born about 1811 in Detmold, Kreis Lippe, Nordrhein-Westfalen (North Rhine Westphalia) Province, Preussen (Prussia).^1,8 (Her surname is sometimes listed as "Rieger," but it is listed as "Ringe" in the church marriage record of her son Heinrich and when she was a sponsor for the baptism of Florinda Hoefer.)

(Her gravestone indicates that she was 79 years old when she died in 1890.) She emigrated in 1867 from Germany.² She appeared in the census in 1870 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.³ Mina appeared in the census in 1880 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹ She died on 2 October 1890 at the age of 79.⁸ She was buried in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.^8,9 in the Noth Family Reformed Lutheran Cemetery.
