1. Friedrich H. "Fred" BEHRENS was born about 1812 in Detmold, Kreis Lippe, Nordrhein-Westfalen (North Rhine Westphalia) Province, Preussen (Prussia).1 He emigrated in 1867 from Preussen (Prussia).2 He appeared in the census in 1870 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.3 Fred appeared in the census in 1880 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.1 He died on 6 March 1898 at the age of 86 in Monroe County, WI.4

Friedrich H. "Fred" BEHRENS and Wilhelmine U. "Mina" RINGE were married.2,5,6,7 (Her surname may have been "Rieger.") Wilhelmine U. "Mina" RINGE was born about 1811 in Detmold, Kreis Lippe, Nordrhein-Westfalen (North Rhine Westphalia) Province, Preussen (Prussia).1,8 (Her surname is sometimes listed as "Rieger," but it is listed as "Ringe" in the church marriage record of her son Heinrich and when she was a sponsor for the baptism of Florinda Hoefer.)

(Her gravestone indicates that she was 79 years old when she died in 1890.) She emigrated in 1867 from Germany.2 She appeared in the census in 1870 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.3 Mina appeared in the census in 1880 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.1 She died on 2 October 1890 at the age of 79.8 She was buried in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.8,9 in the Noth Family Reformed Lutheran Cemetery.
