9. Wilhelmine Louise Elise "Lizzie" BEHRENS was born on 12 January 1868 in Wisconsin.^1,3,10,16 (The cemetery records list her given name as "Elsie" and her birth year as 1867.) She was baptized on 8 March 1868 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁶ in the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Her sponsors were Wilhelmine Noth, Louise Noth, Friedrich Noth and Louise Mandell. She appeared in the census in 1870 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.³ She was listed as "Elizabeth." Lizzie appeared in the census in 1880 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹ She died on 27 April 1895 at the age of 27.^42,43,44 She may have died during childbirth, as her youngest child was born in January 1895. She is reported to have died of tuberculosis.

Wilhelmine Louise Elise "Lizzie" BEHRENS and Christian "Chris" HETT were married on 13 January 1892 in Monroe County, WI.^25,44 Christian "Chris" HETT, son of Johann Heinrich HETT and Anna Barbara ASCHENBACH, was born on 11 June 1860 in Honebach, Hessen (Hesse) Province, Germany.^17,44 (He was listed as "Christ" in the 1910 Census.) He emigrated in May 1885 from Honebach, Hessen (Hesse) Province, Germany.^14,23,43,44 (The 1900 Census listed his emigration year as 1880, and stated that he had lived in America for 20 years; the 1910 listed it as 1885.)

Four of the people would have been Christian and his three children from his first marriage. The other two were his two sons from his second marriage.

He appeared in the census in 1905 in Wilton, Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.^42,46,47 His occupation was "Wagon Manufacturer" and he made them for Studebaker. In addition, he was the local Elgin automobile dealer, and he also sold De Laval cream separators and farm crop harvesting equipment.

He appeared in the census in 1930 in Wilton, Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁸ His household was on Main Street and his occupation was "Proprietor, Retail Hardware Machinery." Chris died on 18 December 1940 at the age of 80.^10,43 He was buried in Wilton, Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ in the Wilton Hillside Cemetery.
