60. Gordon "Gordy" BUCHHOLZ was born about 1925 in Wisconsin.22 He appeared in the census in 1930 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.22 He died on 21 July 1987 at the age of 62.11

Gordon "Gordy" BUCHHOLZ and Marcella Elnora WALTERS were married on 15 November 1958 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.11,13,50 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Marcella Elnora WALTERS, daughter of Paul Amel WALTERS and Luella Erabella Hedwig BERNHARDT, was born on 3 September 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.8,50 She died on 9 February 2007 at the age of 86 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.13

Obituary Notes: "Marcella E. Buchholz, age 87, of Tomah, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2007, at the Greenfield House at Tomah. She was born March 9, 1920, in Tomah to Paul E. and Louella A. (Hedwick) Walters. She was united in marriage to Edwin Fuchs; he preceded her in death. She married Gordon I. Buchholz on Nov. 15, 1958, at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Tomah. They moved to Wilton three years after they were married and lived there until Gordon died on July 21, 1987. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a sales clerk at the Bassinette in Tomah. Marcella is remembered for her thoughtful and considerate personality. Her friendships were important to her.

She is survived by nieces Juanita Petta of Menomonee Falls, Sharon (Robert) Peterson of Arizona and Paula (Frank) Merlo of Antioch, IL; a sister-in-law, Edna Walters of Antioch, IL; many grand-nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to first husband Edwin Fuchs and second husband Gordon Buchholz, she was preceded in death by twobrothers, Conrad and Dewel Walters; a sister, Evelyn Emons, and a brother-in-law, Donald Emons.

Funeral services were held today (Monday), Feb. 12, at noon at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, 525 Superior Ave., Tomah. Pastor Donald R. Buch officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery in Tomah. Relatives and friends called at the church today from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. The Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home in Tomah assisted the family with arrangements. Memorials may be given to St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Tomah, in memory of Marcella E. Buchholz."
