Descendants of Christian Buchholz
Christian Buchholz and his wife Johanna were born in about 1819 in Prussia, and are the ancestors of many of the Buchholz family members that live in Monroe County.
Christian may have been related to (and possibly a brother of) August Buchholz, Sr., who was born in 1832 in Prussia. August and his wife, Ernestine Zellmer, are the ancestors of another large group of Buchholz members that settled in Monroe County. (His family is in another report on this website.)
