Dwaine Theodore CALKINS Sr. was born on 26 September 1929 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.^14,39 He appeared in the census in 1930 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴² After 1951 he was a truck driver in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴³ He drove for Keene's Transfer from 1951 until 1970, when he purchased his own truck. Dwaine died on 30 April 2003 at the age of 73 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁴ He was buried on 5 May 2003 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁴ in the Warren Mills Cemetery.

Dwaine Theodore CALKINS Sr. and Patricia Ann "Pat" O'BRIEN were married on 8 July 1951 in Black River Falls, Jackson County, WI.^14,43 Patricia Ann "Pat" O'BRIEN, daughter of Archie O'BRIEN and Luella KENYON, was born on 1 March 1937 in Black River Falls, Jackson County, WI.¹⁴ She died on 18 December 1995 at the age of 58.¹⁴
