Francis Eugene "Frank" TAYLOR was born on 25 March 1849 in Fort Ann, Fort Ann Township, Washington County, NY.5,10,12 He appeared in the census in 1850 in Fort Ann, Fort Ann Township, Washington County, NY.13 He appeared in the census in 1860 in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.12 (At the time of the 1860 Census, Oakdale Township was named Leroy Township.) Frank appeared in the census in 1880 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.15 About 1894 he was a carpenter in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.29 An article in the Tomah (WI) newspaper notes that Charles Kellogg built a house in Oakdale 26 Apr 1894 with Frank Taylor as carpenter.

. He lived his family farm in Sections 3 and 4 in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI in 1897.27,30,31 Frank lived at his home in Centralia, Grand Rapids Township, Wood County, WI in October 1900.8,32

(He could not be found in the 1900 Census records for Centralia, Grand Rapids Township, Wood County, although his mother's obituary indicated that he lived there when she died in October 1900.)

. He appeared in the census in 1905 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.33 His occupation was "Carpenter." He appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.34 Frank died in 1921 at the age of 72.10

Francis Eugene "Frank" TAYLOR and Anadosia "Anna" BOLD were married on 25 March 1876 in Monroe County, WI.10,35 Anadosia "Anna" BOLD, daughter of James BOLD and Lydia UNKNOWN (BOLD), was born in 1856 in Wisconsin.10,12,15 (The 1880 Census listed her birth place as Illinois; that was probably an error because her older and younger brothers were born in Wisconsin.) She appeared in the census in 1860 in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.12 She appeared in the census in 1880 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.15 Anna died on 10 May 1888 at the age of 32 in Oakdale, Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.5,10,36,37

Obituary Notes: "On Thursday last, May 10, 1888, Mrs. Frank Taylor, of this place.

The remains of the deceased were interred in the Oakdale Cemetery on Saturday and were followed to their last resting place by a large cortege of friends and relatives. The funeral services, which were held in the town hall, Oakdale, and conducted by Rev. Mr. Gordon, were very impressive, and a high tribute to the memory of the departed.

Deceased was a daughter of Mr. Bold, of Juneau County, and was universally respected and esteemed in this community."

Francis Eugene "Frank" TAYLOR and Ada Jane CROSSETT were married on 28 August 1898 in Monroe County, WI.30,35 Ada Jane CROSSETT, daughter of Zerah H. CROSSETT and Jane A. DAVIS, was born about 1854 in Vermont.14,34 (According to the 1870 Census, she was born in Vermont; that is most likely the case because her siblings were, too.) She appeared in the census in 1860 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.12 She appeared in the census in 1870 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.14 Ada appeared in the census in 1905 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.33 She appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.34
