In the 1860 Census, he is listed as "Cylor.") (He may have been born in Stoney Creek, NY, although the 1860 Census indicates Wisconsin.)) He appeared in the census in 1860 in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.¹² He appeared in the census in 1870 in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁴ Ceylon appeared in the census in 1880 in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁵ He was living with his parents. He lived in Pipestone, Pipestone County, MN about October 1900.⁸ He died on 15 June 1912 at the age of 53 in Flandreau, Moody County, SD.⁵

Ceylon Edward TAYLOR and Louisa ARROWSMITH were married.⁵ Louisa ARROWSMITH was born on 17 June 1869 in Wigan, Lancashire, England.⁵ She died on 6 June 1911 at the age of 41 in Pipestone County, MN.⁵
