She lived at her home in Midland, Midland County, TX after September 1938.²⁶⁶ Gracie lived in Abilene, Taylor County, TX about 1952.⁴³² She died on 4 May 1968 at the age of 57 in Graham, Young County, TX.⁸⁵

Grace Mae "Gracie" CUMMINGS and George Gibson SLENTZ were married on 24 January 1937 in Tennessee.^{133,266,296,433} A letter from her mother dated 18 September 1938 to her uncle Elton Griggs mentions that "My daughter married Jan. 24, 1937 and the same day my brother Osmon's oldest daughter had a little girl killed here in Midland. Then my daughter and son-in-law came out here and he works for my niece's husband and I am living with my niece...."

He may have been the George G. Slentz, age 19, who was listed in the 1930 Census as living with his parents, George and Anna, in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, TX. He and his parents were born in Pennsylvania, and his occupation was "Helper, Oil Well." He is believed to have been the George Slentz that is listed in the Social Security Death Index with a birth date of 11 June 1910 and a death date of May 1975. George Gibson SLENTZ⁹⁵ was born on 11 June 1910 in Butler, Butler County, PA.²⁶ He died on 11 May 1975 at the age of 64 in Graham, Young County, TX.²⁶ He was buried in Pampa, Gray County, TX.²⁶
