She died on 24 April 1910 at the age of 50 in Ada County, ID.⁸⁰ Obituary Notes: "Emma L. Richardson was born in Wisconsin to Dewitt C. and Ann E. Richardson. She married Walter L. Gile in Eau Claire, WI on Nov. 3, 1886. They had three children, two of whom were living in 1900 (Leora Juliette and Katherine). The family moved to Boise, ID around 1907 and were living there in April 1910." She was buried at Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire, Eau Claire Township, Eau Claire County, WI.⁸⁰
