Friedrich "Fred" DUVIE was born on 21 February 1833 in Pommern (Pomerania) Province, Preussen (Prussia).1,2,3 (His surname was listed as "Dueve" in the Marriage Registration Index record for his daughter Anna, as "Duwe" for his other daughters, and as as "Duvie" in the Oak Grove Cemetery records and on his gravestone.)

. He was Lutheran in 1873 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.4 He was one of the first seventeen charter members who formed St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church.

He emigrated in 1873 from Preussen (Prussia).5 Fred appeared in the census in 1880 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.6,7 His complete household was listed in both the LaGrange Township and the Village of Tomah census records; apparently they lived on or near Town Line Road that separated the two census districts and two different census enumerators included them in their count. In the LaGrange Township census, his occupation was "Works on Railroad" and his surname was spelled "Dove." In Tomah, his occupation was "Work on Wood Train" and his surname was spelled "Duvie."

(His household cannot be located in the 1900 Census in Monroe County.) He appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.5 His household was on McLean Avenue. He died on 21 January 1916 at the age of 82.1 Fred was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.1 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friedrich "Fred" DUVIE and Friederike "Reake" KRUEGER were married about 1864.3,5,8,9 According to the 1910 Census, they had 8 children, of whom 7 were living at the time. Friederike "Reake" KRUEGER was born on 2 January 1842 in Pommern (Pomerania) Province, Preussen (Prussia).2,3,6,10 (She was listed as age 35 in the 1880 Census for LaGrange Township, indicating a birth year of about 1845. In the Tomah Township census, she was listed as age 36.

Her surname was spelled "Kruger" in the Marriage Registration record of her daughter, Anna.) She emigrated in 1873 from Preussen (Prussia).5 She appeared in the census in 1880 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.6 Reake appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.5 She died on 28 December 1928 at the age of 86.10 She was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.10 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Franz Friedrich August "Frank" DUVIE was born on 1 November 1871 in Pagenkopf, Kreis Naugard, Pommern (Pomerania) Province, Preussen (Prussia).6,11,12 He appeared in the census in 1880 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.6 He died on 3 March 1951 at the age of 79 in Wisconsin.11

He appeared in the census in 1880 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.6 Paul appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.5 He was living with his parents and his occupation was "Laborer, Com. Labor." He appeared in the census in 1930 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.14 He died on 27 September 1938 at the age of 60.1 Paul was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.1 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
