Descendants of Franz Eckelberger
Franz Eckelberger and his wife, Isabelle, were born in Prussia in the late-1700’s. Their three sons, Friedrich, Christian and Christoph, emigrated to America in the late 1850’s and settled with their wives and families in the Ridgeville and Wilton township areas of Monroe County.
They are the ancestors of all of the known Eckelberger and Eckelberg families that lived in that area.
