119. Maynard Nelson FORREST Jr.³⁸ was born on 25 May 1943 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁴⁹ In 1994 he was a truck driver in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹³⁵ at Keene's Transfer. He died on 2 March 2013 at the age of 69.¹⁴⁹

Obituary Notes: "Maynard Nelson Forrest Jr., 69, of Tomah died suddenly on Saturday, March 2, 2013. He was born to Maynard and Florence (Rodefer) Forrest on May 25, 1943, in the town of Sparta.

He was a member of the Tomah Senior High School Class of 1961. He was united in marriage to Mary Harris (Zebell) on Jan. 30, 1999. Maynard drove Semi for 43 years. He drove for Keene’s Transfer of Tomah for the last 33 years. While he was on the road, he enjoyed listening to books on tape and talk radio. Maynard loved riding motorcycle. He was known as the “Pizza Grandpa,” and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Time most precious to Maynard were the family camping trips around Wisconsin, and visiting with his family and friends. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church is Sparta. He will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Mary of Tomah; six sons, Jay (Annette) of Albuquerque, N.m., Tim (Jen), Todd (Karen), Tracy all of Wyeville, Michael Smith and Mark Smith of Chippewa Falls, Wis.; two daughters, Kathi and Tammi both of Tomah; seven step-children, Tammy (Craig) Herth of Black River Falls, Ron (Lisa) Organ of New Lisbon, Wis., Greg (Kathleen) Organ of Bremerton, Wash., Chris (Linda) Organ of Norwalk, Tina (Wade) Bernett of Sparta, Bruce (Kathryn) Organ of Tomah, and Erik (Lori) Harris of Murphysboro, Tenn.; 42 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jeff of Tomah, two sisters Janet (Tim) Frank and Joanne (Robert) Keene both of Tomah; an aunt, LaVerne Cramer of Tomah; many brothers – in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three grandchildren, Dylan Herth, McKenzie Rosin, and Kyle Burkhalter; a great-grandson, Bryon Hammond; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Werner and Margaret Zebell; and two uncles, Lloyd “Feets” Cramer, and Lyle Rodefer, and an aunt Joyce Rodefer.

A Memorial Service will be 1 p.m. on Wednesday, at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home. Pastor James Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in the LaGrange Cemetery."
