Descendants of Richard Edgerton
Richard Edgerton and his wife Mary Sylvester were born in England in the early-1600’s. Their great-great-great-grandson, Charles Edgerton, and his wife, Mary Slack moved to Monroe County in the 1850’s and were the parents of twelve children who married into families such as Arity, Newman, Forrest, Lamb, Kinne and Jeffries.
