Descendants of Isaac Evans
Isaac Evans and his wife, Sarah Baldwin, were probably born in New England in the mid-1700's.
One of their descendants, Charles Hudson Evans, married Hannah “Jane” Griswold, a daughter of Reverend Samuel J. Griswold and his wife, Clarrissa “Clara” Pettingill, in 1838.
The son of Charles and Jane, Salem, was the father of the Evans children who lived in Oakdale Township.
