Grace Elaine GAMERDINGER and Gerald "Jerry" BELTZ were married on 25 April 1964 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.19,21,32 Gerald "Jerry" BELTZ, son of Henry BELTZ and Anna BUZEK, was born on 30 April 1940 in Black River Falls, Jackson County, WI.21 He died on 30 August 2006 at the age of 66.21

Obituary Notes: "Gerald “Jerry” H. Beltz, 66, of Tomah, WI, and formerly of Menomonee Falls, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2006. He was born on April 30, 1940, in Black River Falls, WI, to Henry and Anna (Buzek) Beltz. He was united in marriage to Grace Gamerdinger on April 25, 1964, at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Tomah. Jerry was proud to have served in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1962. He retired in November of 2005, having been with Du-Well Grinding in Milwaukee for 32 years. Jerry loved to hunt, fish and play cards, tend to his bird feeders and spend time with family. His favorite motto was “don’t break your back to get something done until you have to.”

Jerry is survived by his wife, Grace, of over 42 years; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Laura Beltz; daughter Leslye Beltz and grandson Jacob Beltz. Other survivors include: Martha Noe and family, Frances Charley and family, Arnold Beltz and family, Judy and Duane Zellmer and family, John Snippen and family, and beloved cousin and friend Bonny Snippen. Being an only child, Jerry was especially close to Grace’s family. He is survived by “sisters” and “brothers” Arlene and Wayne Birkeness and family, Marcella Fritz and family, Donald and Norma Jean Gamerdinger and family, Helen and Vince Rowan and family, Arlys Maas and family and Lucille Varney and family.

Jerry was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, Henry and Anna, cousin Martin Denemark, brothers-in-law Howard Gamerdinger, Stanley Varney and Sidney Fritz, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 2, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, 525 Superior Ave., Tomah. Pastor Donald R. Buch will officiate. Burial will be in the Warren-Mills Cemetery with military honors by Grassman-Sowle-Larsen-Senz American Legion Post #201. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St., and at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of the service."
