Arnim "Od" GILNER49 was born on 13 June 1908 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.23,49 He appeared in the census in 1910 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.8 He appeared in the census in 1920 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.20 Od appeared in the census in 1930 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.16 He was living with his parents and his occupation was "Laborer, General Farm." He died on 17 September 2005 at the age of 97 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.49

Arnim "Od" GILNER and Adeline Marie HAGEN were married on 14 December 1931 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.49 Adeline Marie HAGEN, daughter of Oscar Melvin HAGEN and Frances Louise BERLIN, was born on 18 February 1913 in Black River Falls, Jackson County, WI.49,52 She died on 20 May 2005 at the age of 92 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.49

Obituary Notes: "Adeline M. Gilner, age 92, of Tomah, WI, passed away Friday, May 20, 2005, at the Tomah Health Care Center. She was born Feb. 18, 1913, to Oscar and Francis (Berlin) Hagen in Black River Falls. On Dec. 14, 1931, she was united in marriage to Arnim "Od" Gilner in Tomah. Together they dairy farmed for many years in the Town of LaGrange.

Adeline was a faithful member of the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tomah, having helped with many functions at the church and school and also helped clean them for many years. She served as a member of the Tomah Memorial Hospital Women's Auxiliary and various church circles. Adeline will be remembered for her hard work and dedication to the church and school.

She is survived by her husband, Arnim; one daughter, Delores (John) Kopenhafer of Tomah; one son, Duane (Delores) Gilner of Wisconsin Dells; one brother, Dean (Virginia) Hagen of Duluth, MN; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Francis; two sisters, Norma and Vera; and three brothers, Wendell, Marlin and Archie.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 24, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tomah. Pastor Phillip Enderle officiated. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Tomah. Visitation wason Monday, May 23, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. She was buried on 24 May 2005 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.49 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
