Descendants of August Grassman

August and Johanna Grassman were born in Prussis in the late 1700's. Their son, Rudolph Grassman, Sr., and his wife, Rosa Lenschner, were born there in the early-1800’s and married and settled in Wisconsin, where their nine children were born.

All of the Grassman families in Monroe County descend from Rudolph and Rosa. Their children married into families such as Klabunde, Gnewikow, Rogge, Schlender, Ludwig and Dewey.
