Darlene Kay GRIMES was born on 23 February 1939 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.49 She appeared in the census in 1940 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.42 She appeared in the census in 1950 in Van Buren, Montgomery County, OH.44 Darlene graduated in 1957 in Kettering, Montgomery County, OH.58 from Fairmont High School. She lived in Dayton, Montgomery County, OH between 1984 and 2019.59 at 2700 Horstman Drive.

Darlene Kay GRIMES and Edward Martin "Ed" MARCH Jr. were married in September 1974 in Champaign-Urbana, Champaign County, IL.37,38 They37,38 were divorced before January 2019.60 She was not mentioned in his obituary, it is assumed that they divorced before then. Edward Martin "Ed" MARCH Jr.61, son of Edward Martin MARCH and Irene Eva SHAUGHENESSY, was born on 8 September 1950 in Massachusetts.60,62 He died on 28 January 2019 at the age of 68 in Dayton, Montgomery County, OH.60,61 Obituary Notes: "Edward Martin March was born on September 8, 1950 and passed away on January 28, 2019 and is under the care of Tobias Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel."

Darlene Kay GRIMES and Harold Glenn "Hal" BULLOCK were married about 1960 in Ohio.38,58,65,66 Their December 1963 divorce decree stated that they had been married for 3 years, so they probably married in about 1960. They38,58,65,66 were divorced on 7 December 1963 in Montgomery County, OH.65,67 Darlene was granted the divorce on the grounds of "Extreme Cruelty." Harold Glenn "Hal" BULLOCK66, son of Glenn Ira BULLOCK and Louise Ernestine VAN BUREN, was born on 21 July 1934 in Edwards Township, St. Lawrence County, NY.65,66,68,69 He appeared in the census in 1940 in Edwards Township, St. Lawrence County, NY.70 He appeared in the census in 1950 in Russell, St. Lawrence County, NY.34 Hal graduated in 1952 in Russell Township, St. Lawrence County, NY.64 from Knox Memorial High School. He graduated in 1958 in Buchannan, Upshur County, WV.64 from West Virginia Wesleyan University. He served in the military between 1958 and 1962 in Greene County, OH.71 He served in the U.S. Air Force at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton. After 1964 Hal was in Canton, St. Lawrence County, NY.72 at the St. Lawrence County Laboratory. He died on 19 April 2011 at the age of 76 in Potsdam, St. Lawrence County, NY.66,68,72,73 Obituary Notes: "Harold G. “Hal” Bullock, 76, of Farmer Street, died April 19, 2011 at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.

Born July 21, 1934 in the family home in Edwards, he was the son of the late Glenn Ira and Louise Estell (VanBuren) Bullock. He graduated Knox Memorial in 1952 and later from West Virginia Wesley University with a B.S. in Chemistry in 1958.

“Hal” was a veteran of the US Air Force serving from 1958-1962 and on September 4, 1965 he married Sue Catherine Rose at Gunnison Chapel on the campus of St. Lawrence University. (sic: No mention of his first wife, Darlene.)

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a chemist for Massena Memorial Hospital and since 1980 he owned and operated the family dairy farm, the “GHAMES Farms” in Edwards.
Hal was a past member of the Canton Club Bowling Team for 30 plus years and he and his wife, Sue, were members of the Friday Nite Diner’s Club at the St. Lawrence Inn, Canton. He also enjoyed shuffleboard, hunting, farming, traveling and snowmobiling.

Surviving in addition to his wife Sue of Canton are his two sons, Glenn “Jeff” and wife Sheila of Russell and Harold “Joe” and fiancée Terri of Canton; four daughters, Penny LaClair of Laguna Niguel, CA, Amy Bortnick and husband Chip, Margaret “Meg” Aldous and husband Brad and Elizabeth “Beth” Larrabee and husband Rob all of Canton; sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild; six sisters and five brothers-in-law, Agnes and Harry Smithers, Leona and Paul Baker, Lois McAllester, Mary Jane and Earl Knight, Joyce and Bill Cooper and Anna and Dick McCormick; four brothers, James and Ruth , Clifford and Sally, Charles and Sue and Herb and Scottie; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson, Drew; and a sister, Margaret.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Lawrence Funeral Home, Canton. Funeral will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Gunnison Chapel, St. Lawrence University with Chaplain Kathleen Buckley officiating. Burial will be in Brick Chapel Cemetery, Canton.

He is survived by his wife Sue. (sic: No mention of his first wife, Darlene, or her daughter, Penny.)

The funeral will be Friday, April 22, 2011 at 10:00 AM, at the Gunnison Chapel on the campus of St. Lawrence University. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Lawrence Funeral Home, Canton. Funeral will be Friday at 10:00 AM at Gunnison Chapel, St. Lawrence University w/ Chaplain Kathleen Buckley officiating. Burial will be in Brick Chapel Cemetery, Canton." He was buried in April 2011 in Canton, St. Lawrence County, NY.73 in the Brick Chapel Cemetery. Hal has Ancestral File Number L1F1-59R.
