Descendants of (Unknown) Gruetzmacher

(Unknown) Gruetzmacher and his wife (also unknown) were born in Prussia in about 1800. Their two sons, Joachim and Friedrich, were the ancestors of all of the known Gruetzmacher families that eventually settled in Monroe County.

One of Friedrich’s grandsons, Henry, married Lottie Consulla Root in 1820. Lottie was a daughter of Ira James Root and Mary Minerva Dewey.
