Anne HARP was born about 1840 in New York.22 She appeared in the census in 1850 in Chemung Township, McHenry County, IL.6 She died on 22 February 1860 at the age of 20.2,22,23 According to the Mortality Schedule for the 1860 Census, she died of Consumption after an illness of three days. Anne was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.24 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Anne HARP and Daniel W. "Dan" BIGELOW were married on 14 November 1857 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.10,18,22,25,26 (His name is listed as "David W." in the marriage registration records.)
Daniel W. "Dan" BIGELOW, son of Joseph BIGELOW and Catherine CHILCOTT, was born on 4 January 1833 in Westport, Essex County, NY.3,22,25,27,28 (The Oak Grove Cemetery records list his birth year as 1832.) He appeared in the census in 1860 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.2 He was living with his brother Oscar and his occupation was listed as "farmer." He appeared in the census in 1870 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.5 Dan appeared in the census in 1875 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.29 His household consisted of 4 males and 5 females. He appeared in the census in 1880 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.3 His occupation was listed as "farmer." He appeared in the census in 1900 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.14 Dan died on 2 January 1904 at the age of 70 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.22,25,27,28,30 (The Oak Grove Cemetery records list his date of death as 1 Jan 1904; he may have died 12/31/1903.) He was buried on 3 January 1904 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.27,31,32,33 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

He bought the first Cemetery lots from Oak Grove in 1859--Section OP, Block 6, Lot 8. His father, John, was the first person buried on that lot. He served in the military.33 He served in Company I, 49th Infantry.
