She appeared in the census in 1910 in Grant Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸ She appeared in the census in 1920 in Grant Township, Monroe County, WI.² She was living with her parents. Gladys died on 4 November 1930 at the age of 27 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.^5,18,19,20 She died of childbirth complications. She was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁸ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Gladys Hazel SUTHERLAND and Nels Ulrich "Ole" JENSEN were married in 1921.^4,20 Nels Ulrich "Ole" JENSEN, son of Nels Christian JENSEN and Karne UNKNOWN (JENSEN), was born on 4 July 1881 in Alborg, Denmark.^19,20 (This is a picture of Ole's children from his marriages to Della Klassy and Gladys Sutherland: Back row: Kermit, Arnold (Barney), Agnes and Norman (Spike); Front row: Genevieve and Ray.) He emigrated in 1884 from Denmark.²¹ He died on 28 January 1963 at the age of 81 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.^19,20 Ole was buried in Dannavang, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁹ in the Dannavang Cemetery.
