133. Delores Jean SCHULTZ was born on 16 December 1929 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^6,28,57 She died on 7 February 2013 at the age of 83.⁵⁷ Obituary Notes: "Delores J. Nilles, 83 of St. John, IN formerly of Dolton, IL passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Hartsfield Care Center. She was born on December 16, 1929 in Tomah, Wisconsin to the late Ernest and Ruby Busch-Schultz (nee Hennarichs).

Upon graduation from Tomah High School in 1948, Delores moved to Dolton, IL and worked as a clerk for the Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad (IHB) Blue Island, IL where she met and married John (Jack) F. Nilles Jr. on January 27, 1951. She retired from the IHB‚’s Gibson office in December of 1992.

She and Jack enjoyed their cabin in Flambeau Flowage area of Wisconsin until his passing in September 1993. Delores was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and grandmother. She was a member of Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church in St. John, IN and a former member of St. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church in Riverdale, IL. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the United Transportation Union Victory Lodge #28.

She is survived by her four children, Linda (Robert) Thompson of Munster, IN, John (Sandy) Nilles of Cedar Lake, IN, Steven Nilles of Momence, IL and David (Margaret) Nilles of Lemont, IL; seven grandsons, Robert J, John E, Michael D, Bryan A, Steven D, Matthew D and Ryan J; sister, Donna Warner; brother, Douglas (Candice) Schultz and sister-in-law, Gloria (Daniel) Warkocki; nine nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack”, sisters, Elaine Schultz and Vivian Lucas; brothers-in-law, Robert Nilles, Edward Erickson, Herbert Lucas and Phil Warner.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 2:00-6:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Monday from 10:00-10:30 at the church. Funeral service will be Monday, February 11, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church, 9770 Keilman St. St. John, IN; Interment will be at Oakland Memory Lane Cemetery, Dolton, IL. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church would be appreciated."

Delores Jean SCHULTZ and John "Jack" NILLES were married on 27 January 1951 in Blue Island, Calumet Township, Cook County, IL.^56,57 John "Jack" NILLES⁵⁷ died in September 1993.⁵⁷
