Descendants of Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Kastens

Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Kastens and his wife, Anna Maria Stover, were born in the former Hannover (now Lower Saxony) Province of Prussia in the early-1800's. Their son, Wilhelm, and his wife, Maria “Elise” Rieckman, were also born there in the 1860’s.

Wilhelm and Elise emigrated to America in 1882 and 1886, respectively, and married in Barre Mills, WI in 1888. They adopted the daughter of his sister Minnie and then had four children of their own.

Their children married into families such as Heeler, Prell and Uischner.
