Descendants of Wilhelm F. "William" Kastens, Sr.

William F. “William” Kastens, Sr., and his wife, Maria “Elise” Rieckman, were born in Lower Saxony, Prussia, in the 1860’s.

He emigrated to America in 1882 and she in 1886, and they married in Barre Mills, WI in 1888.

They adopted the daughter of William’s sister, Minnie, and then had four children of their own, who married into families such as Heeler, Prell and Uischner.
