Descendants of William Kelley, Sr.

William Kelly, Sr., and his wife, Margaret Maxwell, were born in the 1820's--he in Ireland and she in Canada.

After marrying in New York state in about 1849, they moved to Adrian Township, where they raised their family of nine children.

Most all of the Kelley families in the Tomah area descend from William and Margaret.
