Descendants of Claus Koepcke

Claus Koepcke and his wife, Triene Lange, were born in the Mecklenburg-Schwerin Province of Prussia in the 1620's. Via their son, Christian, they are believed to have been early ancestors of many of the Koepcke family members who settled in Monroe County.

It is not known if Claus was related to Nicholaus Carl Koepcke, who was born in 1764 in the same area. Some of his descendants also settled in Monroe County and they are included in another report on this website.
