Descendants of Henry Lambe (Lamb) I

Henry Lambe I and his wife, Ann Nunn, were born in England in the mid-1500's. Their son, Thomas Lamb, Sr., and his wife, Elizabeth, were born about 1600 in England and had seven children. One of their sons, John Lamb, Sr. emigrated to America in 1630 and married Ann Skelton in Massachusetts. They had ten children.

One of the descendants of John and Ann, Alexander Hannibal Lamb, moved to Greenfield Township in Monroe County in the 1850’s, where he married Melinda Enches. They had thirteen children, and they married into families such as Walrod, Crooks, Edgerton, Peters, Lapp, Cooper, Boynton, Bigness, Bigelow, Rose, McMullen and Randall and Brazell.
