Johann Conrad "John" LOBE Sr. and Maria "Mary" SIEGEL were married about 1845.^1,2,3 Maria "Mary" SIEGEL was born on 23 March 1823 in Wurttemberg Province, Preussen (Prussia).^3,4 (Her surname may have been Ziegler.) She died on 13 August 1898 at the age of 75 in Oakdale, Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.^2,3,5 after suffering "a stroke of paralysis" at the home of her son, John Lobe, in Oakdale. She was buried on 15 August 1898 in Oakdale, Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ in the Oakdale Township Cemetery.
