Margaret Katherine LOBE was born on 15 February 1912 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.28,29 She appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.12 She appeared in the census in 1930 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.25 Margaret died on 19 November 1973 at the age of 61 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.28

Obituary Notes: "Margaret K. Williams was born in the Town of Tomah on Feb. 15, 1912 and passed away at the Tomah Memorial Hospital on November 19, 1973 at the age of 61 years.

She was united in marriage to Clarence Williams on September 20, 1935. They lived most of their married life near Shennington, where they farmed.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Clarence; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Ritter of Anaheim, Calif., Mrs. Mary Egan of Wyeville, and Mrs. Carol Thracte of Shennington; eight sons, Vern, Donald, Robert, Ronald and Larry, all of Shennington, Arthur of Rockford, Ill., Stanley of Wyeville, and Edward of St. Petersburg, Florida. Also surviving are Mrs. Williams' father, William Lobe, of Tomah; one brother, Roger Lobe of Tomah; one sister, Kathryn Ludeking of Oakdale, and 15 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held from the Seventh Day Adventist church in Tomah on Friday, Nov. 23, 1973, at 1:30 with Pastor Michael Sulen officiating and burial was in the Oakdale Cemetery. The White Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements." She was buried in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.18 in the Oakdale Township Cemetery.

Margaret Katherine LOBE and Clarence Kenneth WILLIAMS were married on 20 September 1934 in Omro Township, Winnebego County, WI.4,28 Clarence Kenneth WILLIAMS, son of Elijah Newton WILLIAMS and Lola Nettie BASSETT, was born on 21 October 1911 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.29 He appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.12 He appeared in the census in 1930 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.25 His occupation was "Construction Groundman, Electric Line." Clarence died on 25 January 1982 at the age of 70 in La Crosse, La Crosse County, WI.28

Obituary Notes: "Services for Clarence K. Williams, 70, Rt. 1, Camp Douglas, were Wed., Jan 27, 1982 at 11 A.M. in the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Tomah. The Rev. Steve Shipowick officiated and burial was in the Oakdale Cemetery. Williams died Mon., Jan. 25, 1982, in La Crosse Lutheran Hospital.

He was born Oct. 21, 1911 in Tomah to Richard and Lola (Bassett) Williams. He married Margaret Lobe on Sept. 20, 1934, in Tomah. She died Nov. 19, 1973. He later married Mary Webb in Camp Douglas on Feb. 8, 1976.

Prior to his retirement, he was a farmer in the Camp Douglas area.

Survivors are his wife; eight sons, LaVerne, Donald and Robert, all of Camp Douglas, Arthur of Rockford, Ill., and Edward, Stanley, Ronald and Larry, all of Tomah; three daughters, Mrs. Howard (Betty) Ritter of Chino, Calif., Mrs. Donald (Mary) Eagen of Tomah and Mrs. Richard (Carol) Trachte of Camp Douglas; 24 grandchildren; two brothers, Harvey and Richard, both of Indiana; three sisters, Mrs. Edwin (Helen) Stark of Sparta, Mrs. William (Hazel) Mesner of Tomah and Mrs. Glenn (Virginia) Griggs of Milwaukee; two stepsons, Clifford Koester of Sigel, Ill. and Harold of Effingham, Ill.; and seven step-children. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. The White Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements." He was buried in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.18 in the Oakdale Township Cemetery.
