1. Christian Friedrich MARTEN was born on 26 April 1813 in Tatten, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Province, Preussen (Prussia).¹ (At the time of his death, he was 84 years, 10 months and 14 days old.) He was Lutheran about 1862 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.² He was one of the charter members of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He died on 10 March 1903 at the age of 89 in Norwalk, Monroe County, WI.^1,3 Christian was buried on 13 March 1903 in Norwalk, Monroe County, WI.¹
